Our Story

What is Indian Scholars?

Indian Scholars is a student-led, non-profit community for Indian high school students (Grades 9–12) that connects top-performing and action-driven students with each other. It brings together students who either excel in a specific domain (top 1%) or have built something of their own-like a startup, nonprofit, or initiative-and helps them collaborate, grow their skills, gain mentorship, and create real-world impact beyond academics.

Spark of an Idea

Our journey began in a summer workshop, where we identified a major problem in India's education system: the lack of a common national platform. Everything is school-centric, and opportunities beyond academics and sports are disconnected.This sparked the idea for Indian Scholars: a foundation completely built by students, for students, and entirely free of cost. Our core philosophy is the empowerment of students with unique talents in areas like gaming, dance, or digital skills, who currently lack recognition. We aim to give these students a voice and a platform, bridging a crucial gap in the system.
